January thru
December- Informal Handling
Classes will be held 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. The Classes are held at the Maggie
Trejo Supercenter at 3200 Amherst. The fee is $10.00 per month
payable at the first class of the month. The volunteers holding the class have the right to request that any
dog be removed from the class when it is deemed necessary for the betterment of
the class as a whole. January
Classes are on the 7th and the 21st.
Heart
of the Plains Kennel Club will be hosting a 2 day dog show, September/October, 2009 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in Lubbock, TX.
There will also be
a Sanctioned Match on Saturday evening, after Best in Show.
Club T-Shirts are available at Threads By
Design. You can purchase a red shirt there, or bring one purchased
elsewhere, in order to have the logo stitched on. Hats and other items can be
appliqued.
To
further the advancement of all purebred dogs.
To
conduct dog shows, sanction matches and other events under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
To devote
all profits accruing to the Club to the above objectives as well as make
specific bequests to charitable or Civic organizations for educational programs
for the benefit of the community as a whole.
