Member Information
Club Membership is $10.00 a year. New Members must attend three (3) meetings, and are then presented to the club for voting. You'll find our club to be a diverse group with common interests. If you are interested in showing your dogs in AKC shows, joining the club will be invaluable to you. If you are new to the area, you will meet people who share your love of dogs!

- A 10% discount at Pampered Paws in Lubbock on selected services like grooming, bathing, and boarding (not including Day Care services) and a 10% discount on purchases of 2 or more items ie. food, collars, and leashes. Pampered Paws carries Natures Variety, Solid Gold including Raw Foods. First Puppy Certificates for free spa treatments for puppies sold by members. Breeder contact Diana Dowd.
- A 10% discount at Regal Pet Resort in Lubbock on selected services like grooming, bathing, and boarding (not including Day Care services). Discount offered by owner Todd Bains.
- Finished AKC Champions listed in the front of the Catalog.
- Breeder referrals for your breeds.

Active Members of the Heart of the Plains Kennel Club will receive these additional benefits:
- Meets one of the basic requirements for the AKC Good Sportmanship Award.

- Discount for selected club activities as announced.

- A website page for a non-refundable annual fee of $50.00. This fee includes changes once per month and changes must be turned in by the time we have our monthly meeting. You must maintain your membership and be a member in good standing. You can announce litters, brags, contact information, and pictures etc on your page.
